REC CENTER IS "PANTHERIZED"
The process of "Pantherizing" the Recreation Center is complete. In the Spring and Summer of 2012, exterior painting changed the building's colors from red, yellow and white to the Blue and Gold of FIU. Then in August and September, landscaping of the north and west faces of the building brought colorful and attractive trees and shrubs.
The final stage of the process was the addition of interior building graphics. What is likely the largest Panther head on campus now adorns the interior wall above Tropical Smoothie Cafe (above), and may be joined at a later date by exterior graphics on the Rec Center.
Enjoy the Panther spirit!
